MEDICAL TEST AT THE INSTITUTE OF AVIATION MEDICINE, ROYAL THAI AIR FORCE (NEXT TO BHUMIPHOL ADULYADEJ HOSPITAL), 171, PAHOLYOTHIN ROAD: Please check dates at www.tgpilotrecruitment.com

  • All Student Pilot applicants are required to have a Medical Examination.

  • The fee for the Medical Examination is 3,200 Baht per person. Applicants must pay this on the day of the examination. It is non-refundable.

  • Applicants must:

    • Not eat any food after 8 pm on the day before the Medical Examination. Applicants can drink a little water if it is really necessary.

    • Applicants must wear shirt and tie, and bring their application ID, Thai ID card, and some pens, pencils, and erasers.

  • It is not difficult to pass if applicants exercise a lot before the tests. The doctors are very strict about eyes, ears, and blood. If you are not sure or if you think you a problem, it is a very good idea to check your health 2 or 3 months before you have the examination. If you drink or smoke, it is also a very good idea to stop or limit it. If you cannot pass the easiest step to be a pilot, you will not be happy, so it is up to you to follow the advice above.

Applicants who have a pre-Lasik eye certificate of more than 300 will have very little chance of passing the Medical Examination!
